Reality Check – join us in a poor community
In Romania there is a huge distance between worlds, one we feel deeply every time we go back to our homes in Bucharest, after a visit in a poor community. And we know that we cannot progress, as a country, unless these worlds come closer and truly understand each other.
It is one thing to understand conceptually a reality described by someone in words or even images, and a different thing to really feel it – see it with your eyes, speak to people who are not from your world, understand first hand how it is like “on the other side”. We invite you to join us in such communities, to understand better the people who need help and those who offer it, to work closely with them for at least one day, to contribute with ideas and to help us build together.
